Each user agrees to abide by the terms or conditions of purchase imposed by Suntopia Travel and Tours or any supplier with which the user elects to deal including, but not limited to, payment of all amounts when due and compliance with all rules regarding availability of fares, or products or services. Each user shall be completely responsible for all charges, fees, duties, taxes and assessments arising out of the use of this website or any other third party facility offered by this website.
For the convenience of users, the booking and or reservations area may provide exact fare information in the currency for which the fare is computed and approximate fare information in another currency or currencies. Approximate fare information in currencies other than the currency used to compute the fare is calculated using currency exchange information derived from publicly available sources and is believed to be accurate. When you buy a ticket to travel on a flight operated by Suntopia Travel and Tours, you enter into a contract of carriage with Suntopia Travel and Tours. The contract is governed by: (i) the conditions in your ticket or itinerary and receipt, (ii) any applicable tariffs, (iii) Conditions of Carriage, and (iv) related regulations. The carriage of passengers, baggage and cargo by air are subject to the Conditions of Carriage and Regulations of Suntopia Travel and Tours and may be seen on request by contacting a Suntopia Travel and Tours Travel agent or by accessing our Conditions of Carriage. Other services and products described in this Web Site are also subject to terms and conditions, details of which may be obtained from Suntopia Travel and Tours or the service provider (as applicable). Passenger is responsible for complying with all of the terms and conditions set forth herein, and such terms and conditions cannot be modified by the oral representations of airline personnel.

Your account information is owned by and proprietary to Suntopia Travel and Tours. You agree to access your account information through the Site and to not give access to your account to any person or entity other than a member of your household or a person that you directly supervise as part of your career or employment.

This notice forms part of the conditions of contract between the airline and the passenger. If there is any inconsistency between the incorporated items described below and the terms and conditions in the passenger’s ticket, these incorporated terms govern. Foreign air transportation is governed by applicable tariffs on the file with the United States, the United Kingdom and other Governments. Incorporated terms may include, but are not restricted to:
You can obtain additional information on items 1 through 6 above at any location where the transporting air carrier’s tickets are sold. You have the right to inspect the full text of each transporting air carrier’s conditions of carriage at its airport and city ticket offices. You also have the right, upon request, to receive free of charge the full text of the applicable conditions of carriage incorporated by reference from each of the transporting air carriers. Information on ordering the full text of each air carrier’s conditions of carriage is available at any location where the air carrier’s tickets are sold.
Airline flights may be overbooked, and there is a slight chance that a seat will not be available on a flight for which a person has a confirmed reservation. If the flight is overbooked, no one will be denied a seat until airline personnel first ask for volunteers willing to give up their reservation in exchange for a payment of the airline’s choosing. If there are not enough volunteers the airline will deny boarding to other persons in accordance with its particular boarding priority. With few exceptions, persons denied boarding involuntarily are entitled to compensation. To be eligible for compensation, customers must have presented themselves at the airport for check-in at least two (2) hours before departure of the international flight. Check-in means face-to-face interaction with an airline representative at the check-in counter.
Passengers on a journey involving an ultimate destination or a stop in a country other than the country of origin are advised that the provisions of the Warsaw Convention or the Montreal Convention as appropriate may be applicable to the entire journey, including any portion entirely within the country of origin or destination. For such passengers on a journey to, from, or with an agreed stopping place in the United States of America, the Convention and special contracts of carriage embodied in applicable tariffs provide that the liability of Suntopia Travel and Tours and certain other carriers party to such special contract; for death of or personal injury to passengers is limited in most cases to proven damages not to exceed US$75,000 per passenger where travel is governed by the Warsaw Convention and SDR113,100where travel is governed by the Montreal Convention*, and that this liability up to such limit shall not depend on negligence on the part of the Carrier. For passengers traveling by a Carrier not a party to such special contracts or on a journey not to, from, or having an agreed stopping place in the United States of America, liability of the Carrier for death or personal injury to passengers is limited in most cases to approximately US$10,000 or US$20,000. The names of Carriers party to such special contracts are available at all ticket offices of Carriers and may be examined on request. Additional protection can usually be obtained by purchasing insurance from a private company. Such insurance is not affected by limitation of the Carrier’s liability under the Conventions or such special contract of carriage. For further information please consult your airline or insurance company representative.
Suntopia Travel and Tours is not subject to and does not apply the liability provisions of European Community Regulation 2027/97 which requires European Community air carriers not to apply any financial limit to their liability to passengers for death or injury, and to make prompt advance payments in the event of hardship following an accident. Suntopia Travel and Tours is subject to and applies the liability provisions of the Warsaw Convention or the Montreal Convention, as applicable.
It is illegal to carry dangerous goods – that means anything that poses a significant threat to health, safety or property when transported by air – in your checked baggage or hand baggage. Dangerous goods include explosives (flares, fireworks, ammunition, certain chemicals, power rivets, etc); gases (aerosols containing toxic, flammable and/or explosive substances, butane cylinders, breathing apparatus); flammable liquids and materials (paints, lacquers, polish, filters, adhesives, lighter fluids, matches); household cleaners (bleaches, ammonia, corrosive substances, items such as car and wheelchair batteries); pesticides and other toxic substances; swimming pool chemicals and other oxidizing substances; and magnetized materials. Read the warning labels on items before packing your bags, and check with Suntopia Travel and Tours’s Cargo Division if you wish to transport any dangerous goods as cargo. Transport of explosives or munitions of war as cargo requires the approval of the Ministry of Works and Transport in Trinidad and Tobago.
Baggage liability is covered under the Warsaw Convention or the Montreal Convention depending on the route of travel. For travel governed by the Warsaw Convention, we will reimburse up to US$9.07 per pound, up to a maximum weight of 70 pounds per checked bag (a maximum of US$634.90 per checked bag). Baggage covered under the Montreal Convention is reimbursed at the maximum value of 1,131 SDRs (approximately US$1,515) per ticketed customer.
Suntopia Travel and Tours does not accept as checked baggage fragile, perishable or valuable articles including, but without limitation, money, jewellery, eye wear, negotiable paper, securities, documents/certificates (business, medical, travel, education), samples, paintings, antiques, artifacts, manuscripts, irreplaceable books or publications, medication, keys, cameras and other photographic or movie equipment, working papers (files, studies, reference material, correspondence, theses etc.), or electronic equipment (videos, stereos, computers). These items should not be placed in checked baggage but can be taken on board (subject to carry-on baggage restrictions).
We recommend that you; (i) lock your baggage, (ii) place your name, address and contact details on the inside and outside of your baggage; and (ii) carry electronic devices and camera equipment, cash, jewellery and other like valuables and medication and prescriptions with you on the aircraft.
We strongly recommend that you obtain adequate travel insurance cover prior to your journey.
